Breeders contract

This certifies that _________________________( known as the mare owner )

Has engaged _____ service(s) to the stallion " Kents Little Man "

Reg. #_______________  For the _______ season at  Monroe Equine Farm,

and agree's to the breeding fee of $ ________  , with a non refundable booking

fee of $_______ at the time of service. the balance for breeding service due when

mare is checked in foal ( with in 45 days of breeding ) . Mare owner also agree's

to pay $ _______ for mare care (dry ) or  $ ________ mare care (wet )  a day

board for said horse (s) a day board while mare is at the farm to be bred .

Mare owner also agree's the following . Please initial after each..

1. Mare shall be in good health, and weight , and in sound breeding condition at

the time of arrival. Mare Shall have proof of current shots , and coggins and Neg

Vaginal culture. _______

2. Mare Owner is responsible for any and all veterinarian, farrier , or other fee's

necessary  in case of illness , and preventative measure's . _________

3. Monroe Equine Farm well care for mare (s) and any foals ( if wet ) in a diligent

manner. Mare owner agree's ,in case of accident.  Monroe Equine Farm , will not 

be held responsible. Mare owner further agree's , in case of sickness or death of

mare and or foal Monroe Equine Farm will not be held responsible.  _______

4. All board and other bills must be paid in full before mare departs. In the event of

non-payment , Monroe Equine Farm reserves the right to place a lien on the foal from

our stallion said mare is carrying, and breeders certificates will not be issued until

all fee's and monies owed are paid in full . ______

5. All mares must be at least halter broke and gentle. _______

6. Monroe Equine Farm guarantee's a live spotted foal from this mating . The foal shall stand

and suck . Should a foal not stand and suck , and only after a check from a veterinarian

and the foal found not able to live , the owner of mare will be entitled to return said mare

for rebreeding  with in 90 days ( unless other wise decided between mare and stallion

owner ). At that time only mare care well be due before mare leaves again .. But the

mare owner MUST contact the stallion owner with in 48 hours , and a copy of the death

certificate from the vet. must be sent to the stallion owner or delivered by hand with in

48 hours or rebreeding agreement becomes null and void. Guarantee is also null and

void if foals death is due to lack of proper care of the mare or mare owner. ________

7. Should stallion die, be sold, or become unable to service, the stud fee will be refunded

in a case where a re-breeding is warranted . _______

8. This contract becomes legally binding by both the mare owner and the stallion owner,

subject to above terms and conditions. This can not be re-assigned , or transferred to

any one else or to a different mare with out consent of the stallion owner.
