This is Peaches , we brought her home Oct.28th. We are working on getting her weight back up and the tangles out of her mane and tail . a little at a time , she is such a peach to deal with the nic name sort of stuck with her .. Her first 4 nights she only ate 2 flakes of hay all night and another 2 all day and just a one pound coffee can of grain 3 times a day ,, and she drank very little , now she is consuming about a bale of hay in a 24 hour period and im filling up her 14 gal bucket 3 times a day .. im pretty sure it wont take long till she looks like the other tubbies around here ..lol she will be 3 in may and we are hoping her grouth hasnt been to stunted by all this as she is only about 13.1 hands right now . BUT on the poss. side she did test out double homoz. ( for the toby gene and the black gene ) . Not that , that matters so much as her wonderful temperment does ..
